Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru

Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru, How did I manage to get to this title, I may never know but I am glad I stumbled upon it. Aired during the year 2006, Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru just maybe the reason to why today’s anime feature some of the convincing Cross-dressing characters that gives a bit of thrill to the series.

Mizuho’s Granfather’s final wish is for Mizuho to attend an all girls school, same as Mizuho’s mother, Only Mizuho is male. He pulls of his grandfather’s wish by dressing up as a female with the help of his friend, Mariya.

What pulled me into watching Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru is the story concept, Its not everyday you see a cross-dressing anime with the male protagonist surrounded by females. Along with the influence of OG-man and his yuri passion I grabbed onto Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru and true enough Yuri components are within view.

The story goes as Mizuho retains his Manhood inside while presenting a feminine exterior and i would never have guessed that Mizuho to be considered one of the prettiest in the school which gave the series its first thrill. While the first 3 episodes we’re focused on Mizuho becoming the All-girls-school’s role model, their Oneesama, i find it to be quite enticing. Mizuho had no say in that 3 episodes but rather it was his friends that voiced him. Basically an introduction of the characters.

The story has no prior goal but for Mizuho to pass off as a female in an All girls school. It is about companionship, and being a role model. So to answer your question, NO ECCHI.

Probably one of the best thought out storyline I’ve had seen in quite awhile, the series maintained its pure wholesomeness by placing a man in an all girls school and removing the typical anime male lead where he accidentally gets into ecchi situations. Heart-Pounding events are so thrilling that it’ll keep you at the edge of your seat everytime.

First Impressions of everyone and everything doesn’t tend to stay long as everything and everyone aren’t what they seem. Is she a villain? is she some kind of Gothic girl in an occult club? those are but 2 of many questions you will be asking yourselves as you proceed to the series. In this series Problems isn’t caused by one’s drive to belittle another but rather its their opinion that clouds their judgement.

Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru probably have the most unexpectedly-cute ending clip, Not talking about the music the music is fine althoughout  but the video itself is pretty hilarious and cute its just fun to watch everytime. Mixed with the happy-go-lucky soundtrack and its bound to give you a nice jive.

Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru have a lot of Relationship lessons, becoming a role model is but one of many. Though I won’t encourage cross-dressing specially if you are a male that can pass off as a female. Please don’t you will only cause trouble to the people around you specially guys. Overall no bad points from my point of view, everything looks great! I wish Mizuho did have a relationship with one of them though.
