It was a long wait of 2 days but worth it. Out of all the Japanese Drama i’ve watched this is the only one that wasn’t adapted from an Anime series THAT MADE SENSE UP UNTIL THE END. 35-Sai no koukousei is an attention getter from the very start. the concept alone makes you place it on top of your watch list what is going on? is this another yankee school setting? nope its just another regular school with regular high school problems.School Caste is a bit more clear nowadays or should i say stands out nowadays. Which puts some students at the top and some students at the bottom. looking back its been 8 years since i was a highschool freshman and i realized there really is a school caste but it wasn’t this intense.Anyway Baba Ayako reminds me of Onizuka from GTO, rather 35-Sei no koukousei reminds me of GTO in a way the protagonist helps out the problems of the people in the classroom and wins their friendship. Thats kinda like this is but GTO is more emotional and more compelling. hmmm that sums it up.

Like any proper drama, plot twists, plot twists everywhere.  The mystery of it all gets you hooked. The once were the audience consider one character to be an enemy turns into an ally the next episode feels great! but most of all, the emotions the characters have grow on you that will all come out in one scene, one scene that ends it all.35-Sai no Koukousei is a great drama with very unexpected characters. such as the hyperactive, overacting, counselor which my opinions have changed time and time again, is she an enemy, is she an ally? i can’t tell!!!!The Series focuses on the relationships of everyone in school. Teachers and students, students and students and teachers and teachers. All of them go through so much in school unaware of each other’s experiences. The things in this series portray what every person needs, someone to take them out of the problems that they are in.Overall, you will watch 35-Sai no Koukousei without reacting so much, because you will be immersed with the series so much that each word you hear, each subtitle you read will be worth giving attention to.
vlcsnap-2014-04-27-12h15m14s51Though i’m more into romantic comedy series i rather enjoyed myself watching this. I recommend you all to watch this yourself, specially if your still in highschool and have a friend that is being bullied.

RATING: 4.8 / 5
